We are always a little late on the retrospective thing, but we like to hold out just in case something amazing sneaks in at 11:59pm on New Years Eve. I don’t watch heaps of music videos, but here are some that I dug in 2010.
JW & Blaze – Palance
What the fuck is Palancing you ask? Partying and Liming. Ahh… Liming? Oh forget about it, just look out for the girl getting daggered by the blue monster.

Remember those shitty animated gifs your dorky cousin from overseas used to post on your myspace. This is a masterpiece of pooh.
Kool Keith – Dick Towel
Everybody’s favourite sex pest shows he’s still got it in a video which is basically an ad for these sexy towels. I want to see you at Bondi with one.
Kanye West – Runaway Extended Extended Thing
Ye at least gets a scratch sniff sticker for effort.
Van and Jess – Unthinkable (Alicia Keys Cover)
Not an official video clip or anything, but pretty amaze balls. Oh and I love Unthinkable. It makes me want to cry about every past relationship I have ever had all at once.
M.I.A. – Born Free
Banned from Youtube. The visionary clip that recognises the plight of rangas everywhere. Officially endorsed by RANGA (Red and Nearly Ginger Association).
Gorillaz – On Melancholy Hill
When I am not being a Y Grade radio celebrity, I ‘work’ at triple j. And by ‘work’ I mean I google my name all day. One of the perks of the job is I got to see Damon Albarn and Company perform this song on a range of beautiful instruments including Harmonium, Celeste, Musser Marimba and Xylophone. The clip is also pretty alright.
Ciara – Ride ft Ludacris
I DJed for a friends wedding recently. Her wife walked down the aisle to this song. If only she did the dance moves, and more sort of crawled down the aisle. Hawwwwwttt!
