With amazing selection and mic skills, Jasmine Solano and Melo X give us a taste of what happens between the sweaty walls of Sway nightclub in New York at Electric Punanny. They brought the vibes. Goodgod’s Danceteria was full with asses bouncing everywhere. We definitely met the booty shaking quota one comes to expect from a Dutty Dancing.
Louis played as well, as did I (though maybe I was a little too turnt). We danced, we drank, we were merry, then ended up at Super Bowl eating Congee.
This is a project that recently dropped from some fam in the far north of Chile in Iquique, a place i like to call my home away from home.
The Hommies fly the flag high for weed rap, sun, beach life and blissed out vibes that seem to go hand in hand with this part of the country. Made up collectively of Art Biz, Okram, Jo$e Spaace, Sanel y Dj Bootleg aka Discos G, These are some talented dudes from a place you should def check into if your in that part of the world.

All it took for me to have input on the programming was that it had to be my last show. Oh my God, Wednesday was MY LAST SHOW!!
Ok, so my mix was a bit random. I was like a kid in a candy store, I wanted to have one of everything. In the set, I made sure to sprinkle some Canadian goodness (most of it old school and none of it Drake), I tossed in some R & B, mixed in some hip hop and doused it ever-so-slightly with a bit of ratchet. I got a lot of love on the SMS line – I was surprised and it made me feel good, then sad, because I’m leaving.
It sounds like such a cliché that I’m shit at goodbyes. I’ve had such a blast over the last 2+ years on Stolen Records. I’ve learned a shit-ton of radio stuff, perfected my off-mic Janini Panini diva tantrum and got to hang out with the two coolest guys on radio. And not to be forgotten, I got to interact with you, our listeners through social media and at times in person.
So thank you Sydney and people who live in Sydney – for being such a great city housing great people doing great things. But let’s not get awkward about this. I’ve moving overseas not underground and where there’s Internet there’s me. See you in cyberspace.

Another instalment of Pineapple Republic went down last Saturday night and again it heaved! A party that has been growing since day one and one of the only spots in Sydney where you get to hear the variety of tunes run to a full dance floor.
