I bought this red leather jacket recently. Totally unwearable. Thought it was the best thing ever, but I haven’t worn it once. I’ll just look like the Indian Michael Jackson. Not something that I think the girls of Sydney are ready for.
This week is both Halloween and FBi Radio’s ‘Instant Karma Supporter Drive’, where you sign up as a member of the station and we help you along in your search for Nirvana. At Stolen Records we are a sucker for a theme, so we thought we would combine it into a Hindi Halloween Party on your radio.
Here is a taste of what to expect…

“alie, shes choong!! sho, fittest gal in britain an best female grime rapper innit”
Parklife in Brisbane. Fun times had. Highlights include taking out of focus pictures of dirty girls and little people, getting mistaken for DJ Mehdi twice and hearing the track below. This is Doctor P’s ‘Sweet Shop’. It features grime rapper P Money – one of the few good grime rappers still doing grime, and murking it. I heard this around three times at Parklife in Brissy, so if you are heading to the event anywhere else in Australia expect to hear a few DJ’s drop this. If only we could do a pull up on the link below.
You know when you discover the original of a track that you didn’t realise was a cover? Here are two examples of said type of tracks; Gloria Jones’ ‘Tainted Love’ and Barrett Strong’s ‘Money’. Both are totally rad, but both have been totally overshadowed by their later covers.
